Ésta es la constante en el periplo americano.

La presencia masiva de homeless por las calles en todas las ciudades.

Borrachos, drogadictos, malditos del sistema económico,

que se ven obligados a malvivir en las calles, a orinar en cualquier esquina,

a soportar el lento paso del tiempo.

Si esto es lo que ofrece la primera potencia del mundo.

Se me parte el corazón ...

 

 

 

 

The constant image in this American journey has been the pervasive presence

of homeless in every city. Drunks, drug addicts, left out by the economic
system that forced them to scrape off a living on the streets, urinating on
street corners, and enduring the slow passage of time. That is the image
that the first world power has to offer.
